Mission Statement

The mission of the Heginbotham Library is to give our patrons the opportunity to grow through reading, enhance community spirit with various programs, and support a lifelong love of books.

Hours:

Monday thru Friday — 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday — 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Programs

Storytime, Summer Reading Program and Teen Summer Reading Program, Christmas Extravaganza, Book Bonanza, Old Fashioned Movie Night, Tea Party Book Club, and the Annual Salad Luncheon.

Library Director

Kathy Bornhoft

Kathy Bornhoft was born and raised in Holyoke, Colorado. She attended the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in Social Sciences and Secondary Education. From there Kathy moved to Alaska and later on Hawaii. In 2000 she moved back to Colorado and began working at Wellington Public Library. After seven years, five of which she was the library’s director, Kathy moved back to her hometown. In 2018 she became the director of the Heginbotham Public Library of Holyoke. In her free time Kathy enjoys painting, going to garage sales, and knitting.
